July Favourites

July 28, 2014

This month I wanted to make my favourites a little bit different...

RAL City Starter Palette*

First up is this Red Apple Lipstick palette. I was sent this item and it is hard/expensive to get hold of if you are outside of the USA but I can't help but feature it! I love it so much! There is a full review linked here.

I use the lighter, matte brown colour on my eyebrows, I have finally found my perfect match.

I love how easy and smooth these are to apply and blend, they are very pigmented, have great colours and last all day. How can I not mention them in my favourites?!

Harry Potter books/group

I am re-reading my Harry Potter books at the moment as part of an online book group called 'book bunnies'. We are all reading one book a month and then talking about it together in the group. It is so fun as a lot of us are huge HP fans so enjoy having an excuse to talk about the books but some people (shock, horror) have never read the books! It is exciting to see someone discovering the books for the first time and realising that they weren't just a lot of hype, they really are excellent.

See how battered and well loved my book is!?
It's also nice to take some time out to read, I never seem to do it any more which is such a shame as it is one of my main passions in life.

Green Beauty Love

This month has been all about the green beauty love for me! I went to the Love Natural, Love Organic show and met some amazing brands and their owners/representatives. I also got to spend a whole day with some of my favourite bloggers on the #FieldTripTour around London. Not only that but I am in the process of setting up my own #GreenMeetUp for October so I am enjoying planning and organising that too.

In August I will be doing a box swap with a fellow YouTuber, Angharad Latebloomer, so June and July have been all about shopping for her - it is exciting to share some of my favourite brands with her, especially UK ones she can't easily try.

There you have it, my favourites for the month of July. What have you been loving?
