Better Beauty Across the Pond? Top European Lip Products - Collab with Short, Small, Sweet

August 25, 2014

Today's post is a collab with the amazing and lovely Ru from Short, Small, Sweet. This is actually the fourth and final instalment in a month long series, I will miss writing these!

Each Monday I told you about the best/my favourite British and European products in certain categories whilst over on Ru's blog she shared her favourite American products.

This week we are covering 'lip' products:

Gloss

I really love my Lily Lolo lip glosses, I like the smell, the texture, the colours... everything about them!

Lip Stick

Honourable mention goes to Lily Lolo, you know I do like them but the Carmine thing has put me off buying them again. I own one Neve lip stick that is divine! It smells amazing, I love the formula and the colour pay off is brilliant. I bought mine on sale so it was very reasonably priced, full price they are under £10 which is still not bad!

Zao Organics lipsticks are sublime. I purchased mine as 'full sized samples' so they were under £5 but at full price they are around £13-15 which is a little bit expensive personally for me as I don't wear lip stick that often.

Lip Balm

This was super easy for me! My absolute favourite UK Lip balm is from Oh! Organics. They have a number of different flavours and I have only tried the bubblegum one and I love it. It takes a lot for me to stray away from my DIY lip balm as that is a holy grail for me. I do love the Hurraw (American) lip balms too but Oh! Organics have a great formula and I love the scent to it.

There you go! That was the final in the series, make sure you go over to Ru's blog to read her final instalment.

I have really enjoyed writing this series - thank you so much to Ru for teaming up with me it has been a real pleasure!

Thank you for reading, hope you've enjoyed it too!
