Fresh Therapies Nail Polish Remover (Review & Demo)

September 01, 2014

A couple of months ago you may of seen a number of Fresh Therapies reviews on your favourite blogs. I certainly did and it made me want to try it out! I purchased (or was possibly given, I can't remember) a sample from Sophia's Choice and have been wanting to share it with you ever since!

You will probably know that finding an effective yet natural nail polish remover is next to impossible.

I personally detest the smell of conventional nail polish remover and it really worries me what it is doing to my nails and fingers. It (was) one of the reasons that I didn't wear polish too often... I dreaded taking it back off!

I've been really impressed with the Fresh Therapies polish. I intended to buy some here from Sophia's Choice but the lovely Jen from Jen's Green Skincare very kindly gave me some as she had an extra bottle. (I'm so lucky!!)

It is £8.99 for 50ml which I think it very reasonable, a little really does go a very long way. My small sample lasted me two uses, both times I managed to remove polish off all my fingers AND all my toes on the same cotton pad! I cannot comment how it works on those notoriously tricky glitter polishes as I have none to try it out on.

Using this remover is easy once you know how - all you need to do is wet the cotton pad, place it on the nail, hold it in place for a good 5 seconds or so, then wipe it off slowly. If you don't hold it in place for a little while you will find it doesn't work very well and you may end up in a bit of a mess!

I have a video in which I demo this 'technique' so just click here to watch that if you like.

Here is some interesting information taken from the Sophia's Choice Website:

All known to dehydrate the skin making nails dry and brittle, with some ingredients also irritating the eyes and nose.

Overall I am very happy with this product and I believe it will be what I repurchase when I need more.

Have you tried this? I know that this is a green blogger favourite and I can understand why!
