Living Nature's Pure Radiance Gift Set

October 20, 2014

Don't hate me but I'm going to say it... It's not long now till Christmas!
*cowers from angry mob*

Personally I like planning ahead in general and Christmas is no exception. After, about, September I will buy gifts as I seem them if I think it would be perfect for someone.

To celebrate the festive season the high end NZ brand, Living Nature have bought out a Pure Radiance Gift Set which retails at £38 and includes a night oil and Lip Hydrator.

You can purchase this festive treat for yourself or a loved one from Botanical Brands here. I was lucky enough to be sent the lip hydrator* to try out.

I was instantly impressed by the packaging - not that this is the be all and end all but it certainly helps as smart packaging makes a great first impression.

The contrasting black and pink recycled box offers lots of detailed product information while the soft, matte black of the lipstick tube feels luxurious in hand.

The actual balm it's self is lovely to use, it is thick and hydrating but it doesn't coat your lips and feel heavy like some can.

My only criticism is the shape of it, there is no flat side it is round or pointy all the way over. That may not bother you, it may just be me being picky! It doesn't make too much difference, application is slightly less natural and instinctive than it is with a balm/stick with a flat top/side but it doesn't effect the performance of the product so it is a small note.

It's all relative of course but I feel that the set is fairly priced at £38 considering it contains an oil. It would be a great treat for yourself or a special person.

Here are the ingredients, personally I am happy with all of them:

Radiance Night Oil: Rosa canina (rosehip) fruit oil**, Calendula officinalis (calendula) extract**, Simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) oil**, Boswellia carterii (frankincense) oil, Parfum (fragrance)*, Daucus carota (carrot) extract, Tocopherol (vitamin E), Rosa damascena flower oil. *From natural essential oils: Citral, Citronellol, Eugenol, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool. **Certified organic.

Lip Hydrator: Ricinus communis (castor) oil, Cera alba (beeswax), Jojoba esters, Theobroma grandiflorum (cupuacu) seed butter**, Calendula officinalis (calendula) oil**, Limnanthes alba (meadowfoam) seed oil, Mica (Cl 77019), Mel (manuka honey), Daucus carota (carrot) oil, Tocopherol (vitamin E). **Certified organic. Fragrance and allergen free.

Have you tried anything from Living Nature? I'm keen to try more after this positive start!
