My Natural Make Up Collection (pics & video)

October 25, 2014

I thought it was time to share my updated Make Up Collection and Storage with you.

I use a random combination of Martha Stewart and WHSmith stationary drawers and clear acrylic containers. I'll show you an overview in this post and more details in this video.

I have my lip balms, perfumes and re-usable cotton pads in this multi-use acrylic container from Ebay:

I have my most used lipsticks in this two part system, also from Ebay. I keep eyelashes, eye primers and cream shadows in the drawers below. I don't reach for them too often so they don't get a prime spot in my main collection!

You'll also see my make up brushes in a Martha Stewart pen holder, everything is sat on top of a Martha Stewart 'in tray' with a single drawer... currently my 'junk' drawer!

I keep most of my make up in this WHSmith stationary organiser, I love the pattern on this and how functional it is!

Rather than show you every drawer I'll just give you the highlights.

This is my eye liner, eye brow and mascara drawer. Fave items include my TANF eye liners, Green People city eye liner pencil and the Avril mascara.

Next, my favourite drawer! Here we have all my cream and powder blushers. Best bits, in my opinion, are TANF cream blushes, RMS Lip to Cheek and Honeypie Minerals powder blushers. (Okay, lets be honest, all of them are my favourite!)

This is my general 'face' drawer, I keep my foundations, concealers and bronzers in here. Favourites you may spot in there are the Hoola Hoop bronzer and Brija Cosmetics highlighter.

Lastly for this blog post (more on my YouTube channel) is my eye shadow drawer! I recently tidied and cleared this out, I pressed a lot of my shadows and that saved a lot of space, I also passed on a load of shadows I wasn't using very often.

Top products in here are all my Brija Cosmetics eye shadows and Silk Naturals latent. I really love my unii palette (hidden under the Pacifica palette) and find it perfect for travel because it is super sturdy and has a huge mirror.

That completes this whirlwind tour, be sure to check out my collection video on my channel.

How does my collection compare to yours?? I think I have too much make up but can't stop myself buying more!

Information:
This post does include a few products sent for consideration. (La Mav foundation, RAL Z Palettes, Mascara and eye shadows, Green People Eye Liners, I think that's everything!)

Genius! I've never thought of storing my make up in mini draws :) but do your brushes not get dusty being exposed in that pot?

  4. I've not found that they've got dirty, I switch up which ones I use so maybe that helps - they are either being used or being washed so don't sit there very long getting dusty? :-)
