Living Nature - Bloom Lipstick

January 30, 2015

Today I'm sharing this beautiful 'vintage' pink lipstick with you - Bloom from Living Nature.

Not only is this lipstick a gorgeous, rich pop of colour but it also has a lovely, nourishing formula that doesn't dry out even my sensitive lips.

This strong, sophisticated ‘hot’ pink lipstick is a daring dash of colour and the perfect pink to enhance and finish a natural mineral make-up look with a little extra ‘oomph’.

Apologies for the poor quality photo - it was dim even with my studio lights!

This beautiful, feminine colour comes packaged in a weighty and soft-feel matte black tube. The luxurious packaging, beautiful colour, nourishing formula and the fact that it is expertly handmade all help toward justifying the high-end price point of £19.50.

Even better... Living Nature is also running a ‘Kisses with Benefits’ promotion for Valentine’s Day, from now until 14th February (or until stocks last).

For each purchase of Bloom Lipstick from Naturisimo, Lovelula or Botanical Brands, you’ll receive a free Living Nature Lip Hydrator, worth £15.

The ingredients are very impressive and it's not wonder it feels very nourishing and soft. I will just point out that it does include Carmine unfortunately so if that is something that you're not comfortable with then you may want to avoid this particular lipstick.

Ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, Caprylic/capric triglyceride, Titanium dioxide (CI 77891), Euphorbia cerifera (candelilla) wax, Iron oxides (CI 77492), Cera alba (beeswax), Carmine (CI 75470), Copernicia cerifera (carnauba) wax, Tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), Pyrus malus (apple) seed oil, Squalane, Vitis vinifera (grape) seed oil, Glycine soja (soybean) oil, Iron oxides (CI 77491).

It's the first Lipstick I have tried from Living Nature and I am very happy with the quality, pigmentation, staying power and formula.

  1. I loved the look of this but as it has carmine in it, I chose not to get it. Such a shame as it's really pretty!

  2. I know, that was my mistake I made the silly oversight of not checking first.
