My Favourite Lip Products

January 21, 2015

I did a comparison post of different natural lip sticks but I wanted to cover some of my all time favourite lip products, including glosses, balms, etc.

Favourite Balms:

This should be an easy one for you to guess... Hurraw! They have awesome formulas, cool flavours and aren't expensive. My all time favourite flavour is vanilla.

My other favourite is my DIY lip balm, you can read about it here.

Favourite Lip Glosses:

I really love Brija Cosmetic lip glosses. I find the formula really nice to wear and not drying on my sensitive lips. I also love the colours, they are really pigmented for glosses. Their prices are so reasonable and the packaging so cute... it's hard not to resist!

Another favourite, but not so affordable, is Red Apple Lipstick. Their Mint To Be glosses are the best smelling glosses ever. The minty scent, the thick and pigmented formula and the easy to use applicator all add up to a great all-rounder gloss that nourishes rather than dries out lips. If you're outside of the US these are difficult and expensive to get hold of, unfortunately.

Favourite Lip Sticks:

This is difficult - my absolute favourite for colour pay off, lasting power and formula is Red Apple Lipstick but I feel bad saying that as they are not cheap and really difficult to get hold of outside of the US.

I do like the Neve Lip Sticks I have tried and they are easier to get hold of.

The Green People Lip Crayon is brilliant, I used it recently in a GRWM video and featured it on my Instagram. I love the colour (Sangria), formula and the staying power. It is a slightly matt formula so it can be a bit drying but I do have very sensitive lips.

I haven't really found a lip pencil yet that I like. I think the formula of the Neve pencils are really good but I am struggling to find the right colour.

What about you? Any favourites I need to try?
