Moody Hair?! Dry Shampoo Review

March 07, 2015

When the most awesome sister duo of amazing natural brand Moody Sisters Skincare contact you and see if you want to try something from their brand then you jump at the chance!

Just an FYI - Moody Sisters currently only ship to the US and Canada, sorry to any readers in the rest of the world... you're about to be gutted that we cannot all enjoy this cool brand that puts the fun into functional. (omg, how cheesy was that! Sorry!)

**EDIT**
Moody Sisters have an Etsy shop and offer postage to some international locations there.

"Our products are made from 100% earth-derived ingredients. We're talking all natural baby!"

I was lucky enough to try out their dry shampoo powder. I have a DIY on my channel but it's one I made when my hair was darker and, quite frankly, I haven't bothered to work on one for blonde hair just yet.

This dry shampoo comes in a screw top, plastic pot with an (optional, additional) puff applicator. It's really simple and easy to use, you can see it in action in my video, *here*.

I tested this out on third day hair - normally I have to wash it by this point or I am a greasy, gross mess not fit for public consumption. After 'puffing' in a bit of the dry shampoo my hair was good to go again! The packaging isn't wrong when it says, 'from greasy to gorgeous in sixty seconds'.

The ingredients are clean as a whistle:
Organic Arrowroot Powder, Cornstarch, Organic Colloidial Oatmeal, Baking Soda, Lemon Peel Powder, Organic Witch Hazel Powder, Essential Oils: Lemon, Sweet Orange, Grapefruit, Bergamot, Lemongrass

Not only does this product look and smell great, have faultless ingredients and work like a charm, it also has a very reasonable price tag of $11.50 for a 2 oz jar.

The rest of the products on their website look amazing and I wish I lived in an area that they ship to! I want to try it all... and because of their reasonable prices I probably could!

"We create affordable {killer} skincare for your family's moody skin. We have a full line of funky & effective skincare products."

They also let me know that new shoppers on their site can get their hands on a special discount code for discount off your first order PLUS free shipping PLUS a free sample!! Available *here* (not an affiliate link).
