Recent Empties

March 21, 2015

It's been less than a month since my last empties post and here I am again with more!

First of all... stop press! I finished off my Bodhi & Birch Mint The Shower Therapy! I never thought it would happen, it's been going strong since before June last year... talk about value for money!

If I didn't already have a stockpile of about 5 spares then this would be an instant re-purchase. I really love the scent and the way this leaves my skin feeling. It's a shame it costs a small fortune but I will certainly continue to be loyal to this product, I love it.

Next up is a joint empty from both Maddie and I. We both love the Child's Farm Shampoo and it has been mentioned a number of times here on my blog.

I've finally got through my Faith in Nature Coconut Hand Wash which means I get to use my Deep Steep handwash... happy days. This hand wash was super affordable (around £3 I think) but I'm not too convinced on the ingredients. I doubt I'll re-purchase.

Another Bodhi and Birch product used up this month, this time the Rosemary Chi Himalayan Detox Salt Scrub*. I'm a bit torn about this one. I did enjoy using it and it was nice but it didn't give me the same amazing effects that other bloggers have talked about. I'm not the biggest fan of the smell, although I didn't actually dislike it either. I found that I used it up pretty quickly so I would struggle to justify the £35 price tag. Final verdict: I personally wouldn't purchase it myself due to budget restraint.

I finished up my first pot of the Earth Conscious Lavender Deodorant the other day. I have already re-purchased a new pot of it plus I have some Schmidt's deodorant on the go at the moment. I found this deodorant to be extremely effective and named it my holy grail in this post.

The Oh! Organics Melissa Toner is a repeat purchase for me. I really love using this, I was never much of a toner person but I've seen and felt significant improvements since using this toner and I can't be without it now! I have already re-purchased and replaced this staple item.

I used up a few samples from Suti - the Rejuvenate Face Oil, the Purity Balm and the Fabulous Foot Balm all of these are absolutely divine to use, if I had unlimited funds I would certainly buy all the full sizes! Alas, my budget is limited... I may still get an oil and/or the cleanse balm but we'll have to see.

I recently used up my Angela Langford I Can See Clearly Now Gentle Eye Make Up Remover (Phew! What a title!) this worked well but I wasn't keen on the price tag (£12 for 50ml) and I didn't like the lid/dispenser on this product, not ideal for travel. Overall it wasn't a huge hit with me although it certainly wasn't a miss either.

In no time at all I finished off the Ishga Hebridean Sea Salt Scrub as it was only a 50ml tub... in my opinion that's not enough for a body scrub. I was lucky enough to win this in a giveaway but won't be purchasing this myself.

I can hear the gasps of shock that I've finished my One Love Organics Skin Saviour Balm at last! This beautiful balm will always be a favourite and a winner to me but I won't be buying it again... my pocket just can't handle it! It was a worth while and luxurious splurge but I won't repeat it again!

It was clearly a month of balm usage because I also finished up a Balmology Cleanse Balm sample and now I am really tempted to buy it in full size! But which balm shoudll I choose?! I just don't know!

I finished up/threw out two make up items this month - my Avril Mascara and The All Natural Face Vegan Gel Eyeliner in Hot Fudge Brownie I am extra cautious with eye based make up products, I've had a sty before and it aint pretty and aint nice! I am taking no chances so I have a zero tolerance policy against anything 3-6 months old.

And there you have it! I can't believe I have such an epic amount of empties after just one month. I have been really working on finishing up products and I think this bodes well for my Project 10 Pan.

Well done if you made it to the end of this post!

I am very tempted by the Balmology cleanser. I was also very impressed with the Suti trial set x

  2. Great set of empties! Moment of silence for the passing of the Bodhi Mint The and OLO is needed I think...! I agree re the scrub, I do like it but I don't think it's a repurchase for me. x
