Social Eyes Lashes & Vegan Glue Review

March 16, 2015

I'm really excited to bring you this review of Karissa Pukas' (of YouTube fame) brand of eye lashes.

I am not normally quick to jump onto something just because it has a celebrity or Youtuber name on it... in fact the opposite is usually true.

But, there is something about Karissa. She seems to have a certain air of authenticity about her and I get the impression that she takes things like this very seriously - if a product has her name on it she wants it to be something she is proud of.

From what she's said in videos she spent a VERY long time working on this venture and I think her hard work and dedication has paid off with a brilliant, high quality yet affordable range of lashes and lash accessories.

I had been thinking of placing an order with Social Eyes for a while and when she released her Vegan, low toxicity glue I knew it was time to get a wiggle on and place that order finally!

I've confirmed with Social Eyes that they do not test on animals at any part of production, no third party testing and they are not owned by a parent company that tests.

I bought two pairs of lashes (one subtle and natural pair, one pair of party lashes), the glue and the tweezers. Thanks to 25% off accessories all this including postage came to around £15 and I didn't have to pay any customs charges. Not bad considering it came from Australia!

I have done a video with more information about what I thought... click here to watch.

  1. I haven't really expirment with fake lashes before, but maybe I should with the lack of good, clean volumizing mascaras available.

  2. I rarely use them - once a month maybe but it is nice to have the option. I guess it will never be a totally 'clean' option but I am happy to comparison for vanity in this case!! :-/
