Ingredients to Avoid

This is a (not exhaustive) list of ingredients you should consider avoiding, you should also do your own research.

My philosophy? Try and make as much as you can yourself with pure, raw and organic ingredients so you know what is in it.

Again, use your own initiative; look things up, use your judgement. Sometimes one of these ingredients aren’t enough to stop you buying/using a favourite product but look into it, do some research, decide what matters to you and how much it matters!

For example, if your existing eye shadow contains talc, perhaps you don’t have to throw it away immediately as it is not a deadly toxic ingredient, however, it is one to avoid ideally so maybe don’t buy anymore eye shadows with talc in them?

The choice and decision is ultimately yours – it is your health and personal well being.
If you want to find out more about why you should avoid certain ingredients, please click *here* to read my post about it, or go to EWGskindeep for more information.

I would also suggest looking up ingredients individually on the EWG website before you buy anything new (and double check before repurchasing) and I strongly recommend the book ‘No More Dirty Looks’ (here on Amazon)
